My visit to coorg

As it was an big travel experience I have shared my traveling experience for 6 days.

Day 1: Arrival in Coorg

We started our Coorg adventure with a scenic drive through lush greenery, coffee plantations, and misty hills.

Checked into a charming homestay nestled in the heart of Coorg's wilderness.

Explored the nearby Madikeri town, its bustling markets, and the historic Madikeri Fort.

Ended the day with a traditional Coorgi dinner at our homestay.

Day 2: Coffee Plantation Tour

Awoke to the aroma of freshly brewed Coorg coffee.

Embarked on an immersive coffee plantation tour, learning about the coffee-making process.

Sampled some of the finest Arabica and Robusta coffee beans.

Explored the enchanting Abbey Falls, a short drive from our homestay.

Day 3: Trekking and Adventure

Set off on a thrilling trek to Tadiandamol, the highest peak in Coorg.

Breath-taking vistas of lush valleys and dense forests greeted us at the summit.

Spent the afternoon white-water rafting on the Barapole River.

Returned to our homestay, tired but exhilarated.

Day 4: Discovering Coorg's Culture

Visited a local Kodava family to experience their culture and cuisine.

Enjoyed a traditional lunch of pandi curry (pork curry) and akki roti (rice flatbread).

Explored the Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique architectural style.

Witnessed a mesmerizing Kodava dance performance in the evening.

Day 5: Wildlife Safari

Ventured into the Nagarhole National Park for a wildlife safari.

Spotted elephants, deer, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.

Relaxed by the serene Kabini River, known for its crocodile population.

Returned to our homestay for a peaceful evening.

Day 6: Coorg Cuisine and Farewell

Took a cooking class to learn the secrets of Coorgi cuisine.

Cooked and savored dishes like bamboo shoot curry and pandi curry.

Bid farewell to our gracious hosts and Coorg's enchanting landscapes.

Departed with a heart full of memories and bags full of coffee.

Coorg, with its stunning landscapes, warm hospitality, and unique culture, provided us with an unforgettable real-time travel experience. It's a destination that truly captures the essence of natural beauty and local charm.
